He also volunteered in the Basic Needs program in which he helped distribute food and groceries for students who are in need.
He has a strong love for technology - he believes that technology can solve many problems. In Fall 2020, he participated in 2020 Google Solution Challenge in which he competed globally to provide free educational resources from university open courses and online resources.
At CSAUSA, Senghoung serves as Director of Information Technology. He leverages his knowledge and skills in web development, information technology, system analysis, and critical thinking to design digital solutions to improve the efficiency of the association. One of his goals in the association is to create a welcoming community for Cambodian students to reach out for help and acquire the resources they need to reach their full potential. He understands the feeling of being far away from home in a new culture and environment is overwhelming and hopes to share his experiences and resources to help our community to grow and become successful in both academics and life.
